Robert E. Lee Mourning Cockade - Inventory Number: CON 266 / SOLD

Exquisite Robert E. Lee mourning or funeral cockade constructed of black silk with a disk of red silk in the center. Pinned to the center is a decorative brass framed albumen portrait of Lee in Confederate uniform, protected by a thick layer of glass. A very scarce piece of Robert E. Lee memorabilia.

Comes housed in a display case with grey velvet backing and descriptive card.
