Scarce Gettysburg Reunion Ribbon - Inventory Number: GET 435 / SOLD

This 50th Anniversary ribbon was struck to commemorate the service of Soldiers from St. Lawrence County of New Yor.  It is one of many specialty ribbons commentating the event in 1913 that were made for visiting soldier from around the Country.  This is the only St. Lawrence example we have encountered.  It is a beautiful example with a top bar featuring clasped hands of friendship, a red, white and blue silk ribbon and an ornated bordered circular medallion depicting the Membership badge for the Grand Army of the Republic.

Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with black velvet and descriptive card.
