Excavated Civil War Union breast plate worn on the strap of the cartridge box. The back still has the lead remaining but is lacking both of the two iron attachment loops. Nice example with crisp detail. This plate was recovered from the Battle of Petersburg.

Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with red velvet and descriptive card.
