Unique Identified Rifle Powder Flask - Inventory Number: FIR 163 / SOLD

Large Copper Powder Flask with nicely inscribed “John Elliot”.  A very nice example with functioning spring and spout.  The body retains a nice honest bronze colored patina.  This is the very first example we’ve seen with an inscribed identification.  Either a presentation piece or a wealthy individual who was looking to ensure its safe return if lost.
