U.S. Box Plate - Inventory Number: BEL 322 / Sold

Nice, excavated example from Fredericksburg, VA.  The face wears a beautiful chocolate brown patina with some of the battlefield soil still affixed. The reverse is lacking both iron loops, the lead fill has a beautiful smooth texture.
