U.S. Civil War Model 1852 Navy Officer's Swallowtail Waistcoat - Sold

Excellent condition dark blue wool double-breasted coat with Civil War U.S. Navy buttons adorning the front and swallow tail. 

The collar features gold lace sized according to rank.  The coat front has two rows of nine (9) large US Naval buttons equally spaced in each row. There are four (4) large buttons on the back of the coat with horizontal pockets on the back and two (2) cuff buttons on each sleeve.  The interior is fully lined.
