    Very good condition Civil War Virginia Cuff Button.  Backmark: Extra Quality.  Button depicts Virginia state seal, Virtus slaying the tyrant, intended for Virginia troops. This design of the state seal with the sword pointed down became prevalent from the 1850's. Backmark: "EXTRA / (star) QUALITY (star)" dm, no rings, well around the shank.
