Sheet music for Her Bright Smile Haunts Me Still, published in Macon, Georgia early in the war, part of "The Southern Musical Boquet" (sic), and sold in Charleston, South Carolina. One of Stuart's staff officers recorded that the general sang this song while riding with his cavalry corps on the road to Yellow Tavern, where Stuart was mortally wounded on May 11, 1864.
Comes housed in a 14 x 12 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
