This rare piece once housed a zinc salt of sozoiodol, a medicinal iodine compound used as a radioopaque medium, a wound antiseptic, and in syphilis treatment in the late 1800s. The bottle features a clear cylindrical form and a gold-bordered label. Small chip on the lip.
