Civil War Artillery Officer’s Crossed Cannons Insignia - Inventory Number: INS 415
A fine example of a Civil War-era artillery officer’s crossed cannons insignia. Crafted in cast brass with a pleasing patina, this insignia would have been worn on the kepi of a Union artillery officer. The detailed cannon barrels are crisply defined, and the reverse retains its original solder marks and all four where attachment loops.
These crossed cannon insignia were a proud symbol of artillery service during the Civil War and remain highly collectible today.
Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with red velvet and descriptive card.
