Civil War Percussion Cap Box with “Baby US” Plate - Inventory Number: LEA 302 / SOLD

U.S. issue percussion cap pouch with Newark, New Jersey and U.S. Sub Inspector markings on the front flap. A dragoon or rifleman “baby US” plate is affixed to the front via brass loops tack soldered onto the back of the plate during the period. The cap pouch is in very good condition with supple leather, inner flap, and both belt loops. The lamb wool lining is no longer present. A great percussion cap pouch with a desirable US plate.
