Physician’s Travelling Box - Inventory Number: MED 206 / SOLD

This ornate leather covered wooden box which measures 14” x 9” x 7”. The leather cover has tooled geometric designs and brass tacking.  The top is outfitted with a carry candle and ornate brass escutcheon plaque which is engraved: “Dr. O.E. Wainwright, Holland, NY”.  No research conducted.  Interior is lined with yellow paper and retains an original leather strap to support the lid when open.  Original key is present inside.
