Sheffield Side Knife Blade Marked “NY” - Inventory Number: EDG 102 / SOLD

Nice large example of a silver cutlery handled side knife.  This specimen measures 11 ½” overall with an impressive 7” blade. The blade ricasso is marked: “Best Hand Forged” reverse is marked by the manufacturer: “W. Marples & Sons Sheffield” The original chestnut leather sheath is in good condition and retains its original silver throat piece and finial.  The belt loop is intact on the reverse.  A very nice example.
