Soldier’s Mess Set 79th Pennsylvania Infantry - Inventory Number: CAM 559 / SOLD

Neat linen pouch with regimental inscription in ink: “79 P.V.I. W.D.” The satchel measures 12” x 6” and is entirely hand sewn and compartmentalized for a knife fork and spoon.  The back side is soiled from use and would make an ideal pairing with a haversack display.
