U.S. Box Plate Battle of Spotsylvania – Inventory Number: BEL 532 / SOLD Excavated Civil War Union Cartridge Box Plate. The back still has the lead remaining, but the two iron attachment loops are long gone, as with most dug examples. These plates were worn on the outer flap of the leather cartridge box. This plate was recovered from the Battle of Spotsylvania.  Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with red velvet and descriptive card.   Inventory Number: BEL 532 / SOLD
