1864 $500 Confederate States of America Currency Note – Inventory Number: CON 438 / SOLD The obverse design of the Confederate currency note contains an image of the famed General Stonewall Jackson and the upper left is the confederate flag – the only note issued by the south to show the flag! The text on this side also includes the conditions for the validity of the Confederate currency note, date of signature, serial number, face value, and the Confederate flag and seal To the left is George Washington on horseback.
