Abraham Lincoln Medallion

 

The Illinois Watch Company of Springfield, Illinois, distributed thousands of medals in its Lincoln essay contest, beginning in 1924. The medal, cast in bronze, measures about three inches in diameter, is presented to Edith Fishbaugh February 12th 1926, the winning student and the year of the contest.

Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with black velvet and descriptive card.
