Abraham Lincoln Mourning Stationery – Inventory Number:  POL 216 / SOLD Black bordered stationery became a popular way of expressing the sender’s state of mourning during the Victorian era. This example depicts the bust of Abraham Lincoln in the upper left corner and was printed to express mourning for the recently martyred President. The stationery measures 7½” by 10” and is folded in half. A scarce piece of Lincoln mourning memorabilia.
