Bardou & Son Paris Binoculars with Case 

 

A beautiful example of 19th-century French optical craftsmanship, these antique binoculars were made by Bardou & Son of Paris, a renowned maker of precision instruments. The binoculars feature a striking black leather body with a smooth central focus wheel, and both eyepieces are clearly marked “Bardou & Son – Paris.” The optics are intact, and the body shows an attractive aged patina with surface cracking typical of their age. Included is the original black leather case, fitted with a secure strap and handle, providing excellent preservation and presentation. An excellent display piece or collectible for fans of early optical equipment, military history, or French craftsmanship.
