Battle Flag Fragments – Inventory Number: FLA 033 / SOLD It was customary for regiments to “souvenir” or cut-up their battle flags to be shared amongst the surviving men which fought for it. These silk fragments were part of a National flag of a Union regiment and are accompanied by wartime covers with satirical propaganda images.   Each bears the period ink inscription: “Relic of Civil War Times”. Inventory Number: FLA 033 / SOLD
