Camp Kettle – Inventory Number: CAM 444 / SOLD 1st Louisiana Infantry Regiment This iron Dutch Oven” was manufactured by A. Snyder Foundry of Richmond, VA.  Was recovered from the Camp of the 1st Louisiana Infantry near Manassas, VA in 1985 with six others which were stacked together.  The hunter regaled that you could see each hut sites indentation and the company street was clear at the time, these were recovered at the end of the   The relic hunting team split these examples amongst themselves and sold one to recoup gas money for their trip home.  A historic camp artifact of a well fought Confederate regiment!  Inventory Number: CAM 449 / SOLD
