Description

Civil War Brogans – Inventory Number: UNI 088 / SOLD These brogans are in near mint condition and show only light signs of wear. The leather uppers are supple and mostly clean with some white bloom from the natural leather tannins on the surface. They are square toed with the tongue being an integral part of the front portion of the brogan. Heel and instep are reinforced with dual lines of reinforced stitching. All seams are tight.  There are four eyelets, but no laces are present.  The russet brown leather soles are pegged and tacked. Heels and toe are in excellent condition and show almost no wear. Each is marked “7” in the center with period font with serif.  Civil War brogans are extremely hard to come by. Inventory Number: UNI 088 / SOLD
