Civil War Era Boy’s Shoes –  Inventory Number: UNI 175 / SOLD Pair of Civil War period shoes for a young man, measuring 10” from toe to heel. The toes are square, as is typical for 1860s shoes. Additionally, a bread to plate is installed which often carried a patent date of 1859. The soles are pegged with wood nailed heels. The bottom of the soles bears a maker’s marking. A scarce pair of period shoes in overall good condition.   Inventory Number: UNI 175 / SOLD
