Excellent Condition with Original Arrowhead Hooks
A beautiful example of a Federal U.S. cartridge box plate, retaining a bright, untouched brass face and its full complement of original arrowhead wire hooks on the reverse. The raised “US” lettering is crisp and well-defined, framed by a clean oval border and displaying a warm, golden patina that collectors prize.
The lead-filled back remains solid, with no repairs or alterations, and all three brass-tipped wire hooks are intact—a very nice original example.
Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with red velvet and descriptive card.
