Description

Confederate Holster

 

Colt Pocket Revolver or similar with 5 ½” or 6” barrel Classic Confederate constructed holster constructed of tarred leather with copper carriage finial closure. The backside of the holster features a belt loop with a 2 ¾ opining secured with primitive copper rivets.  The closure flap has an integral hole to secure the pistil which has been reinforced on the back by a conservator at some point in its life.  The White cotton stitching runs the length of the body with no separations.  A very nice example of a Confederate revolver holster.
