Confederate Read / Sold DIAMETER:   3.62 inches GUN: 20-pounder Parrot rifle, 3.76 – inch caliber  LENGTH:  10 inches WEIGHT:  20 pounds 8 ounces CONSTRUCTION:   Case shot SABOT:  Copper ring FUZING:  Threaded fuze plug (missing) It is similar in appearance to the Federal 20-pounder Parrott projectile, this example bearing a lathe stud near the top of the shell.  2/3rd of the original copper sabot remains.  Recovered at Fredericksburg, Va. Inventory Number: ART 020 / Sold
