Experimental 3.67” Hotchkiss Bolt – Inventory Number: ART 272 / SOLD Outstanding non excavated example from an early museum collection.   The body of the shell exhibits 6 “grease holes” to aid in lubricating the round while traveling through the cannon tube.   The lead sabot has four extensions to affix it to the base cup and prevent slippage when fired.   Cup bears the museum inventory numbers in red paint “N.211–43L”. One of a kind and in immaculate condition. Inventory Number: ART 272 / SOLD
