Extremely Rare Dated Civil War Glasses – Inventory Number: CAM 304 / SOLD Optic housings are marked by the renowned manufacturer: Voigtlaender & Sohn.   Additionally engraved with the retailers markings: “Callaghan – Sole Agent By Appointment – New Bond St. Corner of Conduit St. London”.   Opposite these markings offer the most intriguing part of their history, the original owners name and date: “L.B. Disney” – “1862”.   This represents one of only a handful of dated examples which have surfaced in the last forty years.   This pair is accompanied by a modern custom case for shipping purposes.
