Federal Army General Service Button “Great Coat” – Inventory Number: BUT 182 / SOLD Federal Army general service button, “Great Coat” , one part flat button, coat size.   Button was intended for regular army units, general issue.  Motif depicts “US” with eagle and was intended for the new “Great Coat”, about 1820. Backmark: “UNITED / (star) (dot) (star) STATES (star) (dot) (star) ” rm between two rings of dots.  Reference: Albert GI71, Tice GEN200. Inventory Number: BUT 182 / SOLD
