Frankford Arsenal 15-Second Artillery Fuses – Inventory Number:  ART 366 / SOLD Original pack of 15-second timed fuses manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal in Philadelphia, PA during the Civil War. Pack constructed of a drilled wood block that holds five paper time fuses. Covered in a preprinted label that reads “Frankford Arsenal/1864/15 Second Fuzes” with instructions on how to open the pack. This example has a tear exposing one of the fuses from the bottom and is wrapped in clear plastic for preservation. A nice representative example for an artillery collection.
