G.A.R. Medal – Inventory Number: VET 149 27th Encampment Department of Illinois.  1923 Delegate.   Two piece medal.   Top bar has a pin on the back and scrollwork design, that reads, “REPRESENTATIVE”.   Blue ribbon with an ancho, cannon, and a rifle at the bottom.   Below this is a circular medal with the profile of a veteran at the center.   Inscribed around the edge is “Edward P. Bartlett, Department Commander 1922”.   Reverse is inscribed 27th Annual Encampment Department of Illinois G.A.R. Peoria, Ill. June 19-20-21 1923.    In excellent condition.  Measures approximately 4 1/8 inches.   Inventory Number: VET 149
