Patrick Connolly was wounded July 2nd, 1863 at the Battle of Gettysburg! They fought hand to hand with Armistead’s troops at the High-Water mark.   Affidavit regarding the death of his comrade, Francis Finnigan, and details some of his war service, dated 1883.
