India Rubber Telescoping Cup with Tin Case – Inventory Number: CAM 477 / SOLD Mid-19th century Goodyear’s Patent antique hard rubber cup complete and in its original blue lacquered tin travel case. The case lid is embossed “INDIA RUBBER – TELESCOPING TUMBLER – MADE BY – THE INDIA RUBBER – COMB C.” The original 2 5/8” wide case remains in very good condition and retains most of its period blue finish. Difficult to find as they frequently lost a section and were cast aside in the period.
