Infantry Sergeant / SOLD

Description

Infantry Sergeant – SOLD Image of a robust soldier in a Napoleonic pose wearing a sack coat with five buttons with hand tinted infantry sergeants’ chevrons.   U.S. belt plate with bayonet visible on his side.   Photographer has tinted chevrons blue and cheeks pink. Housed in a gutta-percha case, exterior of the case is decorated in a raised geometric motif.  There are a few small cracks on the exterior edges of the case, but otherwise no chips are present and the case is in solid condition.  Interior of the left side of the case is lined with embossed maroon velvet.   Inventory Number: HAR 037 / SOLD
