Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain Signed Check – Inventory Number: AUT 056 / SOLD Signed personal check from the famous Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain, who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his defense of Little Round Top with the 20th Maine at Gettysburg. The check was issued by the First National Bank of Brunswick and dated September 5, 1867 in Chamberlain’s hand, and paid to Harrison Jones for fifty dollars. Signed “J.L. Chamberlain.” A wonderful artifact from an iconic Civil War figure.  Comes housed in a 6 x 8 inch display case with blue velvet backing and descriptive card.   Inventory Number: AUT 056 / SOLD
