Description

Militia Non-Commissioned Officer’s Sword – Inventory Number: SWO 206 / SOLD Militia NCO sword circa 1850-1865. Classic knight’s head pommel with a ribbed bone grip. The guard consists of cross quillons with a scroll pattern. The blade is 27” with a dark gray finish and a sharp point. There is some wobble to the guard from shrinkage to the bone handle. The scabbard is black leather with brass fittings and a glued repair near the drag. Many of these swords saw service in the Civil War. A classic example.  Inventory Number: SWO 206 / SOLD
