“Puppy Paw” US Belt Plate – Inventory Number: BEL 473 / SOLD     Wonderful, original non-excavated example of the early, even pre-war plate, used by dragoons, and infantry alike.  This example features a rich patina with even wear across the face attesting to its presence in the field.
