Rare CS 18B Button 

Excavated Confederate Army officer button. Two-piece with border. Original shank to reverse. Eagle device, facing left, with the letters “CS” on a superimposed shield on a plain field. Albert CS 18B.  This button sold at Fleicher’s Auction Lot 537 Day 2 of the 2025 Spring Premier Auction for nearly $2k It does have a repair to the back which was not listed in the sale.
