Relics from a Campsite in Buckeystown, Maryland – Inventory Number: GRO 051 / SOLD Lot of dug Civil War relics from Buckeystown, Maryland, scene of Union and Confederate camps during the 1862 Maryland Campaign. The collection includes a number of Confederate Gardner bullets, .69 round balls, and .58 Minie balls, carved and melted lead, a brass powder flask spout, pocketknife, piece of U.S. enlisted shoulder scale, accoutrement rivets, and a variety of brass buckles. A nice assortment of excavated relics discarded just before the Battle of Antietam.  Comes housed in an 8 x 12 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.  Inventory Number: GRO 051 / SOLD
