Rifleman’s Insignia – Inventory Number: INS 219 / SOLD  Excellent original non-excavated Rifleman’s brass horn hat insignia from the Civil War. Identical to figure #484 on page #203 of the headgear insignia book by O’Donnell and Campbell. Utilized from 1850 until 1861. It is the style that is made without the rope tassels and has the horn with ornate bell design. This one has both original mounting prongs intact on the back. 3 ½” x 1 ½”.   Inventory Number: INS 219 / SOLD
