Shoulder Belt Plate New York Militia Ca. 1847-1858 “Ellsworth Avengers” – Inventory Number: BEL 504 / SOLD 11th New York Militia. Gold plated brass clipped corner shoulder belt plate with large silver “11” affixed to the face of the plate. The reverse retains all the original attachment devices. This regiment at the beginning of the war was mustered in as the “Ellsworth Avengers”. Great example!
