Sword  of Major Christopher Louis Grafflin  – Inventory Number: SWO 192 / SOLD 3rd Regiment Potomac Home Brigade Grafflin served as Lieut. Colonel of the 13th Regiment of Virginia Volunteers (Union).  He resigned from the Maryland unit on January 17th, 1863, to serve in the U.S. Congress from the 8th District of West Virginia.  Comes with extensive research binder included copies of military service records.  Provenance obtained in 1976  from family descendant.   Inventory Number: SWO 192 / SOLD
