Tongue Portion of Confederate Belt Plate – Inventory Number: CON 184 / Sold Excellent condition, non-excavated example officers Confederate sword belt plate with strong amounts of original gold gilt finish remaining.  This style features a stippled background with raised letters “C.S.”. Disk measures 30mm with keeper height of 46.5mm and overall length of tongue portion is 56.77mm.  The plate is from the collection of William Erquitt.  Hard to find a prettier example!
