U.S. Eagle Breast Plate Excavated from the Wilderness

Civil War Union breast plate recovered from the wilderness worn on the strap of the cartridge box. The reverse retains the lead fill but is lacking both of the iron attachment loops. Nice example with strong detail to the eagle.

Comes housed in a 6 x 8 inch display case with blue velvet backing and descriptive card.
