Union Cavalryman with Saber Sixth Plate Tintype / SOLD Young cavalryman with shell pattern jacket with short collar, wearing gauntlets.  He is holding a model 1840 heavy cavalry saber.  His sword belt plate is clearly visible.  Housed in a full leatherette case with brass mat.  Interior of left side of the case is lined with red velvet that has been embossed with a butterfly.  Inventory Number: HAR 062 / SOLD
