Union Eagle Breast Plate Battle of Petersburg, VA – Inventory Number: BEL 528 / SOLD Excavated Civil War Union breast plate worn on the strap of the cartridge box. The back still has most of the lead remaining but is lacking both of the iron attachment loops. Nice example with strong detail to the eagle. Some dings on outer edges. This plate was recovered from the Battle of Petersburg. Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with red velvet and descriptive card.   Inventory Number: BEL 528 / SOLD
