United Confederate Veterans Badge – Inventory Number: VET 216 / SOLD Memphis, Tennessee 1909 Reunion.  Nice example of an original United Confederate Veteran’s suspension badge as worn by its members at the UCV Reunion in Memphis, Tennessee on June 8-10, 1909, two-piece suspension badge device. The top bar is inscribed “SOUVENIR”.  A small, circular clip or wire ring is connected to the top piece and suspends the second piece of the badge. An Army of Northern Virginia pattern flag enameled in red and blue is in the middle with the raised words “UNITED” / “CONFEDERATE” / “VETERANS” / “MEMPHIS,TENN.”.  “REUNION” above and “1909” below.   Inventory Number: VET 216 / SOLD
