USMC Model 1875 Noncommissioned Officers’ Sword – Inventory Number: SWO 191 / SOLD Handsome Marine Corps Model 1875 Marine NCO sword with a 29½” long bright stainless-steel Solingen-made blade, etched on both sides with floral designs and “United States Marines”, and bearing a maker’s marking: W.H. Horstmann & Sons Philadelphia. The brass hilt displays a high degree of detail, and the grip is complete with the original wire wrap. The leather-wrapped metal scabbard shows light wear and overall, the sword is in excellent condition. The sword is based on the Model 1850 Foot Officers’ sword and is not commonly encountered.  Inventory Number: SWO 191 / SOLD
