Signed by Confederate Captain
Printed in 1862, this note features a Vignette at the center of Slaves hoeing a field. On the bottom left is a portrait of John C. Calhoun, a father of states’ rights. An allegorical representation of "The Confederacy" appears on the lower right. Known as the T-41 note. A pair of interest-bearing stamps present on the back as well as ink inscription by a confederate Captain and assistant quartermaster.
