1/4th Plate Ambrotype of Civilian Gentleman - Inventory Number: HAR 162 / SOLD

Very clear quarter plate ambrotype of a well-dressed gentleman wearing a double-breasted vest, frock coat, white shirt and cravat. The image is framed in copper and housed in a floral accented full leatherette case with both brass closure hooks present. The spine has been repaired with brown tape.  A very nice 1850s era image.
